Malmisanij mostly wrote in Kırmanc dialect of Kurdish and Turkish. There was no literary work written in Kırmanc dialect other than the two mawlids (T.N. Islamic ceremony) written by the end of the 19th century and in the beginning of the 20th century until 1970. Malmisanij was the first person who wrote in Kırmanc dialect in Turkey in 1970’s. He wrote and completed the first dictionary for Kırmanc dialect in 1987.

He translated stories from Persian and Turkish to Kırmanc dialect. He converted Ehmedê Xasî and Usman Efendîyê Babij’s mawlids into Latin letters from Arabic letters using a transcription method, making possible for these two poets to be known for new generations. Several of his poems were translated to English, French and Swedish; and also two of his books were translated to Arabic. He presided at the Kurdish Writers Organization in Sweden between 1995 and 2001. Moreover, he is a member of Sweden Authors Association.
