Poet and writer (b. 1932, Elbruz
village / Kabardino / Balkar Republic - d. 1998, Nalchik). He exiled when he
was 12 and he wrote his first poems in this exile years. His first poem was
published in the Meni Sözüm (My
Words) anthology of Balkar Poets in Bishkek in 1956.
After returning to homeland, he
graduated from Kabardino-Balkar State University, Department of Philology of
Russian-Balkar, then Rostov School of Party. (1967). He worked for long years
in the newspaper Kommunizmge Jol, directed the Balkar Broadcasts in the
Kabardino Balkar State Radio and Television Corporation. He was retired when he
was the vice president of the same Corporation. He wrote poems, short stories,
fairy tales and dramas.
