Researcher-writer, poet (B. 1905, Ordu – D. January
26, 1958, Perşembe / Ordu). He completed primary and secondary schools in Ordu.
He graduated from Trabzon Teachers’ School (1927) and started to work as a
teacher in Söke district of Aydın. He was close friend with Kubilay, who
attempted to stop the rebellion in Menemen on December 23, 1930 and was
murdered by Islamist rebels. While he was conducting his military service in
Sıtkı Can was a good orator as well. One of his most important contributions was to reveal two Divan poets Tıflı and Fitnat. He was the editor-in-chief of Ordu Public House journal Yeşilordu. İbnülemin Mahmut Kemal praises him for this. He was working on The History of Ordu before he died.
