Researcher and writer (b. 15 August 1956, Diyarbakır). He
attended İnönü Primary School, Diyarbakır İmam Hatip High School (1975) and
graduated from the Konya Selçuk Institute of Education, Department of Social
Sciences (1979). He worked as a civil servant at the Diyarbakır Regional
Directorate of Employment (1976-78), as a preacher and prayer reader at the
Mosque of Dicle University (1987-93) and as the Head of the Department of
Ancient Works at the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of
Libraries and Museums (1994). His first article with the title Fetih ve Fatih (Conquest and Fatih the
Conqueror) was published in a local newspaper. His articles also appeared in
reviews such as Çatı, Mektup, Katılım,
etc.
