Story and novel writer. He was born on December 12,
1948 in Sarayköy / Denizli. His full name is Mehmet Sadık Aslankara. He
graduated from
His first article was published in Cumhuriyet newspaper (April 20, 1965);
and his first story “Beyaz Atkılı Kadın”
was published at Pamukkale newspaper
in Denizli. His review and introduction articles were published in Cumhuriyet
Kitap, Çağdaş Türk Dili, Adam Sanat journals.
He won several prizes in the fields of literature, documentary theater and
documentary cinema. He won the Second Prize at 1986 Salihli Municipality Play
Contest with his work Kevser’di; 1990 Ferit Oguz Bayır Novel Contest
Special Award with his work Körmemdali’nin Çınar Ağacı; 1992 Üsküdar
Municipality Play Contest Third Place with his work Ev-Ses; and Best
Documentary Award in 1999 First Foça Short Film festival with his work Ormanım.
He shared 2002 Yunus Nadi Story Award with Zeynep Aliye, with his work Uykusuz Sakız.
