Author (B. 1887, Istanbul- D. October 09, 1976, Istanbul). After completing the Literature Madrasah and Istanbul High School; he has graduated from High Teachers' School Literature Branch and Istanbul University Faculty of Law and Religion courses. He worked as a teacher and principal in several schools such as Fatih Numune School, Mahmud Sevket Pasa Numune School, Rehberi Ittihad High School (the school where Peyami Safa worked as observer, Riza Tevfik taught philosophy lessons, and where later-famous students such as Fahrettin Kerim Gokay attended) and in Sark High School. He worked as a writer in several newspapers. He travelled to Romania (1939), Austria, Germany, Czechoslovakia (1939), France, Lebanon, Egypt, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands and England. He was a member of Istanbul High School Alumni Association and married with Fatma Semiha Hanim. He has a son named Hakki. He published newspapers and journals such as İslam Dünyası, İzci, Küçük Gazete, Hakkaniyet. His articles were also published in Sebîlürreşâd journal. Aside from his published books; he also wrote school plays named Mukaddes Ateş, Çilek, Haklı Yalan Mektep. Some of his close friends were İsmail Hami Danişmend, Eşref Edib, Cevat Rıfat Atilhan, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek (student at Rehberi Ittihad), Süleyman Hilmi Tunahan.

He has objected the translation of Qur'an in his term with other authors such as Cevat Rifat Atilhan, İsmail Hakkı Yılanlıoğlu, Gazi Yiğitbaş.
