Writer (b. 1950, İstanbul). He attended
Robert College (1968) and graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of
Chemical Engineering (1972). He completed his graduate studies on management at
Boğaziçi University in 1974, and at Ankara University, Faculty of Political
Sciences in 1978. Between 1977 and 1980, he was a manager and businessman.
He was one of the founding members of
the “New Democracy Movement”, which was initiated in 1973 and was terminated
after a short time. During the 70s, he worked as the editor of the review Demokrasi İçin Toplum ve Düşün. He
worked as a columnist initially in the newspaper Yeni Yüzyıl and then in Yeni
Binyıl, Radikal and Zaman. He
produced and presented a program on Samanyolu TV with the name Düşünce
Ekseni (Axis of Thought). He works as a writer and is partner in a company
related to education and counseling.
