Novelist (b. 1957,
Karacafenk village / Kayseri). She graduated from Beşiktaş High School
for Girls (1974) and then worked at the İstanbul Telephone Directorate for a
short time. After leaving this post, she involved herself in her writing. Her
first novel Sevgili Arsız Ölüm (Dear
Shameless Death) is a tale that tells a story of a family that migrates to a
big city from a village, which attracted a lot of interest (1983). Her success
continued with her later works. Bir Yudum
Sevgi (A Sip of Love), which was adapted for the cinema in 1984 and became
her first screenplay.
