Novelist (b. 1936, Alaşehir / Manisa). After he attended secondary school (1951), he worked at different works in İzmir. Then he worked as a bank employee and insurer and for a while he did unionism in İstanbul where he was appointed an office of the bank that he worked. After that, he started to publishing. He did chairmanship of administrative committee of Yazko. He controlled Somut review that publication organ of that foundation (1983-84). He worked at Gölge Adam Daily.
His first story was published Çınar review. He won the third rank award of Ali Naci Karacan Awards with his interview called Yaşadıklarımızın Farkında Olmadıklarımız (Our not to Notice of Life) in 1962. He became famous with his novels that he studied to reflect the process of social development. It attracted attention that he took pain to documentary in his novels. In addition he has essay, story, play and fairy-tale works.
