Sociology researcher (b. 3 June 1944, Balıkesir). He
attended Edremit Primary School (1955), graduated from Edremit High School
(1961), Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Philosophy
(1969). His Masters Thesis: “Platon'a Göre
Sofistler” (Sofist according to Platon). In 1971 he started to doctorate in
the Sociology professorship of the same faculty. In 1975 he became doctor with
his study called “Yurt Dışına İşçi
Gönderme Olayının Sosyolojik Eleştirisi” (Sociologic Critic of Sending
Worker to Abroad).
In
1977 he started to work as a researcher at

1991 he was elected vice-deanship of Faculty of Letters. In 1992 he became a
professor. In 1993-96 he had worked as a headmaster at

articles have been published in Sosyoloji,
Millî Kültür, Yeni Türkiye, Türk Yurdu, Türkiye Günlüğü reviews since 1989.
He presented lectures by joining the meeting about his department, these
lectures was involved in books of symposiums.
