Poet and writer (b. 10 September
1968, Ordu). In addition to his real name, he has also used the pen names Can
Çakır and Ali Kemal. He completed his primary school education in Ordu and his
high school and university education in İstanbul. He directed the culture and
art department and wrote weekly articles in the newspaper Türkiye where he worked
after 1987.
His first story was
published in the magazine Mavera in 1988 and his poems and stories have
been published since then in the reviews Kardelen, Kırkikindi, Kültür
Dünyası, Mavera, Türk Edebiyatı, Endülüs, Yesevi, Tarla, Kalem ve Onur. He
became among the founders of the reviews Kardelen and Kültür Dünyası. He is member of the Writers Union
of Turkey, the Professional Association of Scientific and Literary Work Owners
of Turkey and the Journalist Association.
