Writer (14 March 1941, Nazilli / Aydın). He attended Atça Primary School (1948) and graduated from Nazilli High School and Istanbul University, Faculty of Literature, Department of Turkish Language and Literature (1966). He worked as a teacher at high schools in Nazilli, Eskişehir and İstanbul from 1967. He retired in 1993. He is a member of the Turkish Writers Syndicate.

His first poem “Bekâr Odam” (My Bachelor Room) was published in the review Nasrettin Hoca in 1957. His poems, short stories and humorous articles were published in reviews such as Papağan, Akbaba, Gırgır, Sanat Çevresi, Yaba, Söylem, Beşparmak, Türk Dili, Çağdaş Türk Dili, Yelken, Varlık and Güzel Yazılar and in newspapers such as Cumhuriyet, Hürriyet, Milliyet, Yeni Asır and Sabah Postası from 1960. He won the children’s story award of the review Damar in 1996. He came second at the Turkish Aeronautical Society Short Story Competition and came first at the Etos’s Cultural House Poetry competition. He won the Mevlüt Kaplan Literature Award in 2000 and has received honorable mentions at various competitions.

SHORT STORY: Sonsuz Olmaktır Sevmek (Love is to be Eternal, 1975), Şeytan Rivayetleri-Gizemli Öyküler (Rumors of the Devil – Mysterious Stories, 1997).

ESSAY: Türküleşsin Dünya (May the World be Like a Song, 1985).

PLAY: Bir Numaralı Adam (Man with the Number One, short stories and plays, 1980).

HUMOR: Halkımız "Gülen Ayvamız, Ağlayan Narımız" (Our People “Our Laughing Quince, Our Crying Pomegranate”, 1980), İkramiyeli Dünya (The World with a Bonus, 1983).

CHILDREN’S STORY: Öküzü Bayram Yerinde (Ox at the Fete, 1997), Dilek (The Wish, 2002), Çilli Horoz (The Freckled Cock), Palyaço (The Clown), Annem Dedi ki (My Mother Said That), Çalış Kızım (Work my Daughter), Çalış Oğlum (Work my Son), Konuşan Ayna (The Speaking Mirror), Elma Dersem Çık (Come When I Say Apple), Arkadaşım Eşek (My Friend the Donkey), Karıncanın Dersi (The Lesson of the Ant).
