Storyteller. He was born in Reyhanli /Hatay in 1942. He has completed his primary and secondary education in Antakya. He graduated from Ankara University DTCF Physical Geography and Geology Department (1967). He worked as MTTB press director for two years during his university years and played an important role in the establishment of Turkish Hearth. After receiving a course on his occupational area for two years, he worked as a geomorphologist at MTA General Directorate (1969-1976) and as drinking water branch manager in the Regional Directorates of Adana and Van YSE and Hatay Provincial Directorate. He was retired in 1998 from Hatay General Provincial Directorate of Rural services by his request.

His first story was published in the Ülkü Aile annex of Hergün newspaper on March 29, 1976 with the pseudonym Murat Emin Özhakan. His other stories were published in the journals such as Hatay Fikir ve Sanat (1990) and Güneyde Kültür Fikir ve Sanat (1991-94). He submitted papers on environment in several symposiums. He published one of these papers in 2002. He is a member of Writers Union of Turkey.
