Writer and translator (b. 1958, Nazilli / Aydın). He attended his primary school in Nazilli and he attended his secondary school in İzmit. He graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Literature, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. For a while he worked in  Mavera Reviews.  Between 1984 and 1985 he stayed in London- England for one year and a half. He finished his master program in Middle East Technical University, Department of Sociology. He received for master degree and PhD degree for history branch in Boğazici University, Institute of Atatürk. He worked in a research foundation and worked in Üsküdar Municipality. He worked as a pre-assistant professor for history department in Yüzüncü Yıl University for four years.

 He worked as a foreign affairs columnist in Yeni Şafak Newspaper for two years. His diary, works, essays, translations were published  Yeni Devir and Yeni Şafak newspapers and Mavera, Diriliş, İslam, İlim ve Sanat, Yedi İklim, Andırın Postası, Çerçeve reviews. He wrote historical and biological articles for Islamic Encyclopedia.

ESSAY: Çağdaş Sömürge İmparatorluğu (The Modern Imperialist Empire, 1989), Türkiye’nin Boyun Ağrıları (The Neck Pain of Turkey, 1992).

BIOGRAPHY: Muhammed M. Pickthall – Bir İngiliz Yazarın Müslüman Olarak Portresi (The Portrait English Writer as a Muslim, 1994), Ziya Paşa (Ziya Paşa, 2001), Üsküdar Hatırası (Üsküdar Memory, 2003).

ANTHOLOGY: Üsküdar Şiirleri Antolojisi (The Anthology of Üsküdar Poems with S. Ünlü, 2003).
