Musician, folk music artist, folklorist (B. Kirkuk / Iraq - D. 2010, Ankara). He completed his primary and secondary education in Kirkuk, participated in musical meetings with famous artists of Kirkuk such as Reşit Küle Rıza, Mustafa Kalayı, İzzettin Nimet, Mehmet Gülboy and Abdulvahit Küzecioğlu. He came to Turkey with Abdulvahit Küzecioğlu in 1958 and sang songs in Ankara and Istanbul radios also attended programs in Baghdad Radio, Turkmen section. He was trained at Ankara State Conservatory, Department of Contrabass, received classical Turkish music lessons from Fahri Topuz. He continued with his musical training at Baghdad Fine Arts Academy.

He became one of the artists representing Kirkuk style at Turkish folk music in Turkey,  contributed to Turkish folk music with songs such as Altın Hızma Mülayim, Değirmenci, Ağlama Ceylan Balam, Elinde Ayağında Acem Kınası, Hanım Hanım Ne Güzel Hanımsan, Dağlar Dağlar", also performed songs in Arabic. He gave concerts in Germany, USA, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Lebanon, Crimean Autonomous Republic and Saudi Arabia. He received 2002 Turkish Music award from Writers Union of Turkey with his noted work named Kerkük Türküleri.
