Poet and writer (b. 3 August 1923, Erzincan). His real
name is Ali Nevzat Odyakmaz; he has used various pen names in his works, such
as A. Nevzad Odyakmaz, Nevzad Sudi, Nevzad Sudioğlu and Nazım Sılanoğlu. He
attended İstanbul Çapa Practical Primary Schoool,
His first poem was published in the review Yeni Ses (Birinci Kânun - First
Code, 1939). His other poems and short stories were published in reviews such
as Yurd, Yeni Ses, Küllük, İnsan,
Yenilik, Karşı, Kıyı, Türk Dili, Çağdaş Türk Dili and Güzel Yazılar, with the pen names mentioned above. He is a member
of the Language Society, the Turkish Authors Association and the Writers
Syndicate of Turkey.
