Poet and writer (b. 24 December 1941, Vadili village / Gazi Magosa / Cyprus). He began his primary education in Mehmetçik Village and finished in Vadili. He studied Public Relations in Official State Information on a scholarship in the United Kingdom in 1979. After working as a primary school teacher in Küçük Kaymaklı in 1960, he began to work as a translator of Turkish, Modern Greek and English at the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in 1961.  

He retired when he was director of Information in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (1990).  He fought in the Ermu region of Nicosia, in Bozdağ 1 and Bozdağ 3 regions of the Beşparmak Mountains, he served in the Cyprus Turkish Combat Band; he worked as a translator and presenter appointed especially for English and Turkish broadcasts on the radio program Kıbrıs’ın Sesi (The Voice of Cyprus) in the Turkish town of Anamur between the years 1969 and 1971. He prepared music in the Cyprus Combat Band and the State Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. In addition to writing poems, he also draws. He speaks English and Greek.

His editorials and articles have been published in the newspapers Halkın Sesi and Zaman. Some of his poems have been translated into foreign languages. He received the Broadcast Honor Award and permanent yellow press card.
