Poet an writer (b. 9 September 1960, Dikili / Horasan / Erzurum). He attended Aşağıtahir Hoca Primary School (1971), Horasan Secondary School (1975) and graduated from Erzurum İmam Hatip High School (1979) and Atatürk Universtiy, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (1983).  Next year, he entered as the assistant to the same faculty. His master thesis was: “Motivasyonun Önemi ve Genel Olarak Motivasyon Teorileri” (The Importance of Motivation and General Theories of Motivation, 1986). He completed his master degree in 1987, his PhD degree 1990. He became assistant professor in the field of Business Management. He became professor in Ankara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in which he had been working since 1984. He transferred to Sakarya University in 2003.

His poem “Saat” (Hour) was published in the review Nesil in 1980. His other works were published in the reviews Aylık Dergi, Türk Edebiyatı, Kardelen, Güldeste, Kırağı, Palandöken, Mina, Gurbet, Hüner, Bu Meydan, Martı, Kalem ve Onur, İkindi Yazıları, Karçiçeği, Dolunay, Düşçınarı, etc. With the pen name Yaşar Garip Koyuncu. He received the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Novel Encorougement Award in 1981 with Tutkular Keder Oldu (Passions Became Destiny) and the Grand Award in the International Contest on Poems for Prophet Muhammed of the Turkish Foundation of Religious Affairs in 1990 with his poem Yağmur (Rain). He was chosen as the author of the year by the review Gençlik in 1996. He received the Grand Award of Rose Poetry Awards organized by İstanbul Metropolitan and Tuzla Municipalities in 1998 and the Service to Culture Award from the Anatolian Journalists Association. He was selected as poet of the year 1999 by Writers Union of Turkey with his work Hüznün Lâlesidir Dünya (World is a Tulip of Melancholy). He is a member of Writers Union of Turkey, Center of Economic and Social Researches and Union of Allied Educationists.

NOVEL: Tutkular Kader Oldu (Passions Became Destiniy, 1987), Yollar Dönüşe Gider (Ways Go to the Return, 1989), İntizar (Curse, 1990).Researcher and writer (b. 21 September 1941, İstanbul). She spent her childhood and teenage years in abroad. She graduated from Paris Sorbonne University, Department of Sociology (1973). After returning to Turkey, she became the assistant in İstanbul University, Faculty of Economics (1974). She got the title of doctor of Sociology. She became the assistant professor and transferred to the Faculty of Politics of the same University in 1980. She became a professor. Besides, she worked as lecturer in Bilkent and Marmara Universities.

She has still been working as lecturer in İstanbul University, Faculty of Politics. The articles on religion and politics of Vergin, who is a member of various international social sciences associations, were published in the newspaper Yeni Yüzyıl and other reviews. She refutes the thesis that “the change in social science is very slow” in her book Siyasetin Sosyolojisi (Sociology of Politics). She argues out the events occurred after 1980 like collapse of Soviet Union, high increase in the international migration, ethnic wars and globalizating economy, against the opinion that the knowledge is not renovated frequently like in medicine or engineering sciences.  She handled the works of new searches like Habermas, Foucault, Mouffe, in addition to the theorists of classical sociology of politics in Siyasetin Sosyolojisi (Sociology of Politics).
