Poet,politician (b.1927 Kelkit
/Gümüşhane - d. 25 August 2016, Ankara). He also used Fikri Nur and Tanrıdağı pen names in his poems. He
completed his primary and secondary education in Kelkit. Cumhuriyet Primary
School.He completed Haydarpaşa High School. He graduated from İstanbul
University ,Faculty of Law in 1981.He was elected deputy from Gümüşhane in two
terms. (1961-65) and (1969-73) He worked as assistant president in
Kızılay.(1991-99) He has been working as a lawyer since 1951 in Ankara .In 1964 his first poem was appeared in İnanç
Rewiev which published in Trabzon.Later on he published his poems in
Varlık.İstanbul, Şadırvan,Aile,Hisar, Çağrı Rewievs.He won the Trabzon Public
House Award in 1950.Some of his poems have been translated to english by Yusuf
Mardin. And Talat H. Salman .He
represented Turkey in the poets meeting of Struga in Yugoslavia. Some of his
poems have been composed.by Şekip Ayhan Özışık .Selahattin İçli and Erol Sayan.
He is the member of
Profession Union of Scientific and
Literary Work Owners. And Club of Anatolia.
