Journalist-writer (B. September 25, 1930, Istanbul- D. February 11,
2001). His full name is Mehmet Nezih Demirkent. He was graduated from Istanbul
University Faculty of Law. After 1950, he worked as reporter in Son Saat newspaper. He worked as page
secretary in Yeni Sabah (1952), as an
editor in Yeni Gazete (1964), as general manager in Hürriyet newspaper (1969-70). He became the owner of Dünya
newspaper in 1982. He published several articles in newspapers which he
worked in. He was the head of Istanbul Journalists Association of which he was
also a member.
