Theater actor, cinema actor (B. 1908, Istanbul – D. June 5, 2004, Istanbul). He graduated from Galatasaray High School which was named as Galatasaray Sultani back then (1919). He began with his theater career in 1932. He played with Cahide Sonku and Kani Kıpçak. He began to act in movies with the support of Muhsin Ertuğrul. He played in hundreds of movies. Some of the movies he acted are Hep O Şarkı, Eşkıya, Hamam, Mektup.

He was also engaged in television and dubbing. He made his debut in 1932 with the role Mison Eskenazi in the play Pazartesi-Perşembe of Musahipzade Celal on August 3, 1968 in Darülbedayi which he joined in 1932. He retired in 1975 due to ageing.

A documentary about him was directed by Mehmet Güreli with the name “Alın Kullanın Beni”. He received Legion d’Honeur from the French state. Before his death, Necdet Mahfi had to sell his archive to the State Theaters. He was buried in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
