Governor of İzmir. Mr. Ayyıldız, was born in Pirariz district of Giresun province in 1966. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences in 1987. He started duty as district governor candidate of Ordu Governership in 1989.
He served as the following duties respectively between 1992 and 2013:
1992 – 1993 District Governor of Ulubey district of Ordu province,
1993 – 1995 District Governor of Ekinözü district of Kahramanmaraş province,
1995 – 1998 District Governor of Kozaklı district of Nevşehir province,
2000 – 2003 Deputy Governor of Bitlis province,
2003 – 2006 District Governor of Çayeli district of Rize province,
2006 – 2010 Department Head at the General Directorate of Local Administrations,
2010 – 2011 Deputy General Director of General Directorate of Local Administrations,
2011 – 2013 Governor of Zonguldak,
2013 – 2016 Governor of Aydın.
Mr. Ayyıldız, was appointed governor to İzmir province in accordance with decree of the council of ministers No. 2016/8864 dated 1.06.2016 and published on the official gazette No. 29729. He took office on 10.06.2016.
Governor Ayyıldız is married and has two daughter and a son.
