Writer (b. 1894, İstanbul -
d. 1 July 1973). He was the grandson of Âgâh Efendi who published Tercüman-ı Ahval, one of the early
Turkish journals. He attended Saint-Joseph Private French High School and
Üsküdar High School. While he was studying at İstanbul University, Faculty of
Education, he was drafted into the army after the beginning of World War I.
After the war, he worked for many journals and magazines as a redactor and
anecdote writer. He published a humorous journal named Tatlı Sert and a monthly magazine named Hür Türkiye (1953).
He started his writing career
with the encouragement of Ahmet Rasim.
His first work was published in Şabab journal when he was only
thirteen. Later, his articles were published in newspapers such as Sabah, İkdam, Tercüman-ı Hakikat, Zaman and Cumhuriyet. In his later years, his work appeared in Son Telgraf, Yedigün, Büyük Doğu, Yeni
Sabah, Resimli Tarih etc. most of
his works were published in journals and magazines and were not printed in any
books. Some of the pen names under which he wrote were Ali Fuat Aksaçlı, Cem
Oyaoğlu, Hulusi Kodaman, Pervin Safa, Sabit Çelebi and Süha Bülent. He is
buried in Feriköy Cemetery.
