Poet and writer (b. 1925, Devrek /
Zonguldak). She attended elementary school in Bartın and the Çamlıca High
School for Girls and graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Literature,
Department of Turkish Language and Literature. She worked as a teacher of
Turkish, literature and French at various high schools in İstanbul and retired
in 1987.
