Poet (b. 1938, Aksu, Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkar Republic). He attended primary school in Lenin Jol village of Celal Abad city in Kyrgyzstan (1956). He began to write poems during his school days (1953). He graduated from Kabardino-Balkar State University, Department of History (1963). He served as editor-in chief in local newspaper, vice editor in the newspaper Kommunizmge Jol and the Minister of Kabardino-Balkar Republic Publication Affairs. He is a state artist of Kabardino-Balkar Republic, a member of the Writers Union of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics-Russian Federation and has the Literature Award of Vinnitsa city of Ukraine. His poems were published in Turkey, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Latvia, Ukraine, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.
