Journalist-writer (b. 1929, İstanbul – d. Ö. 1 November 2010, İstanbul). He attended primary school in İstanbul and secondary school in Kirkuk. He graduated from İstanbul Taksim High School, İstanbul University, Faculty of Literature (1955). He started to work as journalist in 1949. He published the review, Tanrıdağı in 1950. He served as editor of humor review, Karakedi in 1951 and writing director at the daily newspaper, Büyük Doğu. He stayed in prison for two months because of a crime related to press. He entered the newspaper, Yeni İstanbul in 1953. He worked as writing assistant in this newspaper for three years and worked as trainee journalist at Daily Express in the United Kingdom for 4 months in 1956. He returned to Turkey in 1957 and completed his military service as reserve officer. In the late 1959, he entered newspaper, Vatan and worked as Germany correspondent of the newspaper. Just after 1960 coup, he worked as general publishing director at newspaper, Tercüman and after one year, again at newspaper, Yeni İstanbul.

He was assigned as Middle East Correspondent of Anatolian Agency in the late 1952 in Beyrut. Until September 1965 did he the same job. He entered parliament as Bursa Deputy in September 1965 general elections. He served as European Council Member in Strasburg between 1967-68. He founded a plane firm between 1969-71. He organized charter flights by rented planes between Germany and Turkey for two years. He published a daily newspaper titled, Orta Doğu to be published for five years. He worked as founder partner of Ak Agent between 1978-82. He entered the newspaper Türkiye in 1982. He has worked as columnist at this newspaper for 17 years. He edited the review İnsan ve Kainat which is an additional publication of the newspaper, Türkiye in 1984. The review was published for ten years. He knows Arabic and English. His poems appeared in various reviews (Diriliş and others). He collected Turkey National Culture Foundation Jury Special Award with his book Gözyaşı Medeniyeti (Civilization of Tears).
