Novelist (b. 11 July 1945, İstanbul). He attended Şişli Terakki Primary School, and Robert College and graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences (1968). He worked as a lecturer and completed his doctorate studies at the same faculty (1982). The same year, he resigned from his office at the university, to protest against the Turkish Council of Higher Education. He worked in the research and foreign news service department at the newspaper Milliyet and a worked on some encyclopedia publications (1982-84).

He worked as an editor in the reviews Playboy (the first 9 issues), Gergedan, Şehir, Start, Güneş Pazar eki and Arredamento Dekorasyon (founder and editor-in-chief, 59 issues, 1989). He is still the editor-in-chief at Açık Radyo, which he established in 1995, and a lecturer at İstanbul Bilgi University, Department of International Relations. His articles have been published in the reviews Yeni Gündem, Argos, Nisan, ...Ve Sinema, Video-Sinema and Cogito, In addition to those he has edited.

NOVEL: Romanımla Sana Bir Ses (My Voice to You with my Novel, 1992).

ESSAY: Rüzgâra Karşı (Against the Wind, 1995), Rüzgâra Karşı II (Against the Wind II, 2001).

RESEARCH: Avrupa İnsan Hakları Sözleşmesi ve Bireysel Başvuru Hakkı (European Charter of Human Rights and the Right of Individual Application, 1977), Migrant Workers and International Law (1985).
