Poet (b. 1882, Trabzon
- d. 17 February 1949, Ankara). He attended Trabzon Military Elementary and
High Schools and graduated from the Freres French Private School. He was
promoted to the post of controller while working for more than 25 years at the
Trabzon and İstanbul Administration of Public Debts.
After this
administration was abolished, he took part in the committee sent to Paris for the
Ottoman Debts (1925). He served as a parliamentary deputy for Gümüşhane (1927)
and Trabzon (1931-49). He wrote poems in which he satirized the period’s famous
people, imitating the poets of Divan*. He also wrote love poems that were set
to music.

Mirror Age, 1934), Ağaç Kasidesi (Tree Eulogy, 1947).
In addition, he
prepared books for publication and translated from English.
