Poet and writer (b. 5 June 1927, Pülümür / Tunceli - d. 29 July 2006, İstanbul). He attended Erzincan Elementary School (1944) and graduated from Erzurum High School (1947) and Ankara University Faculty of Law (1951). The subject of his master's thesis in 1981 was “Atatürk İlkeleri ve Hukuk Devrimi” (The Principles of Atatürk and Law Revolution). He was the Republic Attorney General in Alaçam, Osmancık, Kızılcahamam, Niğde, Bilecik, Şile, Kocaeli, Gaziosmanpaşa, Üsküdar (Attorney General), Kadıköy and Konya (1954-82) and a lawyer in İstanbul (1982 - 84). In 1969, he was chosen as the jurist of the year by the Turkish Law Association. After his retirement, he continued his studies in İstanbul.

He published his first column with the title Faydalı İnsan (Useful People) in the paper Yeni Erzincan (10.7.1947), and he published his other works in various magazines and reviews. In the year 1981, he was awarded by the İstanbul Bar for his study with the title Atatürk İlkeleri ve Hukuk Devrim'i (The Principles of Atatürk and Judicial Revolution). In 1992, he won the third prize award in a Swedish essay competition. He also won the award of the "Poems of Women" competition held by the İzmir Municipality in 1993. He was awarded the Writers Syndicate of Turkey ten-year service Plaquette and the Foundation of Science Education Aesthetic Culture Art Research 1997 50th Year of Art Commemoration Plaquette. He was given with the Golden Medal and Honor Award by the Association of Teachers of Literature in 1999 and with the plaque of Honorary President by the Cemal Süreya Association of Culture and Art in 2004. He also is a member of Turkish Language Association, the Human Rights Association, the PEN Association of Writers (founder), Association fro Freedom (founder), the Association of Literature, the Turkish Language Society and the Cumhuriyet Book Club.
