Writer (b. 1926, Bursa - d.  5 February 1999, İstanbul). He comes from a family who migrated from the Balkans. After attending Eyüp Elementary School, he worked as a technician at printing houses and as a bookbinder and redactor at publishing houses (1965). He worked for twenty five years at the İstanbul Municipality Printing House and the Directorate of Publications until he retired.

His first short story was published in the review Buluş (1950) and his later works appeared in Türk Sanatı, Yelken, İmece, Varlık, Türk Dili and Yansıma. In 1975 he came third at an anecdote contest held by the newspaper Hürriyet, which he entered in his brother’s name. He received an honorary mention at a novel competition organized by the newspaper Milliyet with his book Grevden Sonra (After the Strike). He collected the Sıtkı Dost Children’s Literature award in 1985 with his book Her Çocuğun Kanadı Vardır (Every Child Has Wings) and received the same award in the play category in 1987 and in the poetry category in 1989. He came third with a friend of his at the Abdi İpekçi Friendship and Peace Poetry Competition, held by the newspaper Milliyet in 1986-87.
