Poet (b. 1910, ? - d. 1948, İstanbul). Her real name was Nazan Hanım,
she was the wife of the historian İsmail Hami Danişmend. She was considered a Divan* poet because of her poems published in
the review Aile (1947-49), although her identity was discovered later. Her 41 poems
written in Azerbaijani Turkish were collected in the book Rabia Hatun Şiirleri (Rabia Hatun’s Poems) with a presentation by
İsmail Hami after her death (1961). Later, it was generally thought that these
poems belonged to her husband. Her husband, İsmail Hami Danişmend, explained
the facts in detail in the journal Akşam.
