Journalist- writer, TV host and actress. She was born
on September 14, 1971 in Nevşehir. Her mother and father were civil servants.
Author Tuna Kiremitçi is her second husband. Her childhood was in Ankara where
she completed primary school. She was at Elaziğ Anatolian High School for a
while as a boarding student. She returned back to Ankara due to divorce of her
parents. She spent her secondary school and high school years with writing and playing
in theaters. She started to work from 8th grade onwards. She
completed high school at Yenimahalle Mustafa Kemal High School in Ankara. She
became a student at Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History and
Geography, Department of Theater in 1989. She left the school in the second
year and moved to Berlin. She worked as a professional theater actress in
Germany for six years. She stopped acting in 1996 and returned to Turkey. She
began with her TV career in 1997 and she played in Sıcak Saatler TV series.
She hosted a program for women at HBB channel with the
title “from 2 to 4”. She made programs in Kanal D, Radio D, Radyo Cumhuriyet,
Radyo Kent and BRT FM (1998-2000). She acted in several TV series. She started
to work at BRT in 1999 with her program named “Hayat Güzeldir”. She was awarded
with Zirvedekiler 2000 Best Morning Program. She compiled the diaries and texts
she wrote for “Hayat Güzeldir” and published her first book. She played the
role of Eda in the TV romantic comedy “Two Families” with Emre Kınay in 2006 at
Star TV. She was married twice. She has a daughter named Zeynep Lal. She
continued with her works in Istanbul. She was a columnist in Vatan newspaper.
