He attended Göztepe Aryamehir High School and graduated from the Middle East Technical University, Department of Oil Engineering and from Istanbul University, School of Press and Publishing. His poems and translations have been published in the poetry reviews he edited and in Yeryüzü Konukları, Poetika, Varlık, Sanat Olayı, Oluşum and Broy.
