Poet (b. 1955, Osmaniye). He attended Toprakkale Dağıstan Primary School (1967), Osmaniye İmam-Hatip High School (1974) and graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Literature, Department of Turkish Language and Literature (1978). He worked as a literature and Turkish teacher in Dörtyol (1979) and Osmaniye (1979) Secondary Schools.

His poems and works have been published since 1985 in the newspapers Türkiye, Zaman, Millî Gazete, Bayrak, Yeni Düşünce, Tercüman, Yeni Hafta and in the reviews Bayrak, Çınar, Diyanet, Altınoluk, Güneysu (editor-in-chief), Kıvılcım, Gülçiçek, Tan (Yugoslavia), Şafak (Greece), Kandil Çocuk, Can Kardeş, Türkiye Çocuk, Azerbaycan' ın Sesi. He received an honorable mention in the poetry competition organized by Tercüman, the first prize in the competition organized by Yeni Aksu in 1986, the third prize in the competition about “forests” organized by the Ministry of Forestry, the second prize in the Yunus Emre Poetry Competition organized by the Ministry of Education and the first prize in the Poetry Competition of the Netherlands Center of Turkish Culture. He was chosen as the Writer of the Year in the category of children’s literature by the Writers Union of Turkey in 1995. He is member of Writers Union of Turkey and the Anatolia Foundation.

He also wrote 15 children’s fairytale books (1995).
