Researcher-writer (b. 1957, Norşin / Bitlis / Turkey). He is son of famous Islam scholar Sadreddin Yüksel. Nevertheless, his father rejected him as a son because of his inclinations to a different belief course. He graduated from İstanbul İmam Hatip School (1976). He studied at Middle East Technical University, Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and İstanbul University, Faculty of Litareture, Department of Psychology but was not able to graduate.

He was judged under the article 163 because of his two articles that were published in the reviews and was sentenced to six years heavy imprisonment. He was imprisoned for six months because of his book İlginç Sorular I (Interesting Questions I) when he was released after three years and six months imprisonment. Moreover, he was deprived of studying in the universities of Turkey. He was interested in writing after he was released from prison. He moved to United States.
