Theologian, translator. He was born in Mardin in 1951. After he completed his primary school in Mardin, he graduated from Diyarbakir Imam Hatip High School (1969) and Erzurum Higher Islam Institute (1073). He worked as central preacher in Erzurum (1970-73) and in Mardin (1973-75), as teacher in Gemlik Imam Hatip High School (1975-77). He began to work as an assistant in Selçuk University Faculty of Theology in 1977. He became a professor in Rede Subdivision of this faculty. His analysis and researches was published in Düşünce (1976-77) and SÜ İlâhiyat Fakültesi (1986) magazines.
