Journalist-writer (b. 27 May 1927,
Malatya - d. 21 August, Ankara). He was born in a family that is full of men of science and politics.
His grandfather Evliyazade Hacı Abdullah Efendi was müferris and professor, his
brother Kâmuran Evliyaoğlu was Samsun deputy in 1961 and 1965 and Minister of
Tourism and Promotion (1961).
He attended İstanbul Kadırga Primary School and graduated
from Malatya High School (1946), İstanbul University, Faculty of Law (1950),
Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Press Vocational School
(1970). He studied applied and experimental psychology in Germany (1979- 83).
He completed his postgraduate education at Gazi University, Institute of Social
Sciences. His master thesis was on "İletişimin
Olgusunun Psikolojik Süreçleri" (Psychological Process of the
Communication Phenomenon- 1986). He was elected Balıkesir Deputy from the
Justice Party list at the 1961-64 terms. Afterwards, he worked as an adviser
and Publications Department Director at Prime Minister’s Office Press and Publication
Directorate (1970- 72), Undersecretary of Press and Public Relations of Prime
Minister’s Office Atom Energy Commission (1972- 73), Education Attaché at Köln
Consulate General in Germany, Working Head Undersecretary and Press
Undersecretary at Bonn Embassy (1973- 81) and as an academician at Gazi
University (1983- 86).
He worked as a manager and writer in the reviews Son Havadis (1960-61) and Yeni İstanbul (1961-64). He was the head
columnist and owner of the daily newspaper Medeniyet
in Ankara (1962- 65) and editor of the review Düşünen Adam. He published the review Düşünen Adam (1961- 63) when
he was elected a deputy in 1961. He is publishing Düşünen Adam Elektronik Dergisi on the internet since 1992
