Poet and writer (b. 29 September 1916,
Kadıköy / İstanbul). He graduated from Gazi Institute of Education (1938), New
York University, courses of Education and Psychology (1960), the Kent Drama
School, Department of Children’s Writing (England, 1953). In addition to
working as a Turkish and literature teacher, he was the America Region Cultural
Attaché, an assistant at the Student Inspectorate (1956-60) and worked as a
writer for various newspapers and periodicals.
His first short story Mesut Tahayüller (Happy Imaginations) featured in the Muhit periodical in August
